Winter Garden is a special winter project by S.M. Entertainment which includes three Christmas singles from their female artists, BoA, f(x) and Red Velvet. The three singles were released on different dates, with f(x) releasing the first song on December 15, Red Velvet on December 18, and BoA on December 22.

Background and release
S.M. Entertainment first announced the winter single project via their Twitter account on December 4, with the teaser image showing three numbers, '15', '18' and '22'. S.M. Entertainment later confirmed the participation of girl group f(x) as the first of three S.M Entertainment artists in the project, with the numbers being the release dates of the three singles. On December 7, another teaser was released, revealing three different letters, 'F', 'R' and 'B'. It was then announced that the last two artists were Red Velvet and BoA.
The first song to be released was f(x)'s "12:25 (Wish List)" on December 15 and on December 14, S.M. Entertainment announced that the title of Red Velvet's single would be "Wish Tree".

Singles
"12:25 (Wish List)" (Hangul: 12? 25?) is an electronic pop song released on December 15 by South Korean girl group f(x).
"Wish Tree" (Hangul: ??? ??; RR: Segaji Sowon lit. Three Wishes) released on December 18 by South Korean girl group, Red Velvet. S.M. Entertainment stated that the song is a pop ballad with a warm feel and an acoustic sound.
"Christmas Paradise" is an R&B song released on December 22 by South Korean singer BoA.
Promotion
S.M. Entertainment released teasers of the songs through their video sharing application, Everyshot. The company also invited fans to join their Everyshot WINTER GARDEN league event, wherein fans can make videos with the teasers of the three songs they released and upload it through the app. The contest will be held from December 12 to December 31.
To further promote the three singles, f(x)'s Amber & Luna and Red Velvet's Seulgi & Wendy took part in a one-hour show which was broadcast on the Naver V app an hour before Red Velvet's single was released. The four girls discussed their groups' activities in the past year and promoted the singles, including BoA's. Red Velvet also performed "Wish Tree" live on Music Bank on December 25.
Music videos
On December 22, S.M. Entertainment released a music video for each song for their 'Smile for U' campaign.
